Presently our resource center is operational at Rancharda village of Kalol Taluka in Gandhinagar district. It was started in Feb, 2016. Rancharda village having 3924 population was selected for opening a RISE Resource Center because its literacy rate is lower than Gujarat’s literacy rate. The demographic constitution of the village includes farm labourers, labourers and others doing marginal activities for the livelihood and hence it was quite logical to open a RISE Resource Center at the village. We are working towards providing digital literacy to the people of Rancharda with utmost zeal & enthusiasm as we have been doing since past. Females, children, students are attending computer and English sessions that are conducted at the center.
